Darkroom Daddy Photography is the creative home of photographer Mick Watson, exploring people, places and stories through light, shadow and the moments in between.

Photography is where curiosity meets creativity. Every project is an opportunity to experiment, learn and capture something genuine, whether that’s a portrait, a landscape, a community event or a collaborative concept.

There isn’t one Darkroom Daddy style. Some images are dark and atmospheric, others are bright, simple and unexpected. What matters isn’t the aesthetic, but creating photographs with purpose, character and intent.

Photography remains a passion rather than a profession. That freedom allows me to choose projects that inspire me, collaborate with interesting people and continue enjoying the process of making images.
